The Pelizzatti family run a small distillery on a farm near Landquart. Here, they produce several kinds of liquor in their old distilling vessel. I know that the pomace of my jeninser is in very good hands. No wonder my Marc is a really heart-warming liquor, rich, amber-coloured and complex.


It has matured for five years in an oak barrel at an altitude of almost 1800 metres, exposed to very cold winters and warm summers. These extreme conditions make all the difference. Before bottling, I have refined the old Marc with a younger liquor that has matured for just two years in a steel tank. It adds a fresh and crisp note. schnaps is a real treat after any meal.
